About Us

Who we are, what we are about, and where we're headed as a church family

Who we are

Here's the deal, Radiant Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ.

Radiant is a family of servant missionaries learning to be and make disciples.

Radiant Church’s vision is to be a Radiant Reflection of the Gospel to our cities and throughout the North by being Gospel Communities who multiply disciples and churches. We want to see Gospel saturation across the north.

We are a reorganized church plant that was previously called Catalyst Church.

When gathering with us it is important to remember that we are not and do not always resemble an established church. We are not a church that encourages coming to sit and consume. We are a body of believers who seek to faithfully live out serving one another and our community because Jesus came to serve us and modeled that to us.

Radiant Church Eagle River is an autonomous local body of believers in Eagle River led by a biblical plurality of Elders who co-equally share the responsibility of leading and shepherding this body of Christ.

However our elders as a plurality of equals do recognize our Lead Pastor as Josh Richardson who is the only full time staff member of Radiant Church Eagle River. You can contact Josh at Josh@radianter.com.

Although we are an autonomous local body, we are part of a larger family of churches in Alaska known as the Radiant Family of churches. Those churches are located in Fairbanks, Palmer, Eagle River, Anchorage & Juneau.

The Lead Pastor of each Radiant Church make up a board that meets quarterly together to provide accountability, resources & encouragement to the greater family of Radiant Churches in Alaska.

Our Networks

We are 1 of the 5 Radiant Churches in Alaska that create the greater family of Radiant Churches.

We are part of Plant AK, which is a network of like-minded churches in Alaska that are seeking to multiply and saturate the north with Gospel-centric church plants.

Every Radiant Church in Alaska is part of an international church planting network known as Acts 29.
